So All You Hopeful Valentines...

So it's Valentine's Day!?

Okay.

Let's not get pathetic.

It is absolutely a 100% a piece of cake, to get swept up into the Cupid hulaballoo, but what's the point? Sure it is fun to get gifts, and to be admired- who doesn't enjoy that? But it is also great to be a human being. Unique. And everything but, ALONE! Jesus is there. And as NOT comforting as that it is- it is true. 

I have found myself getting so angry, nearly fuming, when someone tells me:

"You are complete in Christ!" 

As they stand there holding hands with a special someone. HONESTLY! 

I mean I know I am complete in Him. But it is a hard pill to swallow. It is a "DUH!" and no one cares. 

It is like a little girl running to her Daddy crying and saying, "MY GOLDFISH DIED!" and then the Dad glaring at her with the monotonous response, "You should have fed it..."  

It is a like a smack in the face, "DUH!" of course. I know. STOP already!

Trust me.

I know how you feel.

 It stinks being on that end. No smiles on Valentine's Day, no flowers, no chocolate, no teddy bears, NOTHING! 

It is frustrating.   


But I am going to say it again... 


Anyone who tries to sell you a sack of lies saying you are half looking for another half... well thats a lie from hell! You perfectly complete in CHRIST! 

Because He loves you THIS much...

Jesus is your Valentine, today- and for the rest of eternity.
